Rottweiler's Guide To Human Ownership
Rottweilers have received negative publicity over the years because of having a poor human owner. The right master would have trained us at an early age to avoid being too aggressive. We are babies at heart, but full-grown weigh 80-125 pounds. Rottweilers don't understand how powerful, they are.
The ancient Romans were great owners to us. They used us to herd cattle. Since Rottweilers are a working dog, this kept us busy and out of trouble. It also satisfied our need for plenty of exercise and companionship. Otherwise, Rottweilers could use this pent up energy for destructive stuff. We rather chase our owner than dig holes and tear up everything in sight.
Give us plenty of toys to keep us busy. Rottweilers use their herd instinct to round up their toys and have them piled up in one central location. Throwing our toys is a wonderful way to occupy our time. Rottweilers love to fetch.
Rottweilers just want to please their human owners for the 9 to 12 years of our life. We are calm and confident and a loyal and rewarding companion. Rottweilers with our powerful build are immune to pain. .
Rottweilers have an excellent memory. The pizza man knows this. Every time, he rings the doorbell and brings goodies to my human owner, the Rottweiler is there to inspect.
Rottweilers are a natural guard dog with a mellow temperament. The human owner must give us the proper training for us to use our superior intellect with our good looks. Rottweilers get along find with children and small pets, if introduce at a young age. Just keep them from the pool area. We may get excited and knocked them in accidentally.
Humans need to be the leader and treat us like a dog. Don't allow us to beg for food or feed us table scraps. Rottweilers don't know better, but our human master should.
Rottweilers need to be taught matters more so than small dogs. We don't know better and may hurt someone by mistake. Teach Rottweilers to sit at the door before going out. With our intelligence, we learn this quickly at an early age. Rottweilers need to be taught how to take treats from our owners. We don't want to bite off their hand by mistake.
Our human masters are the key to making us a fantastic pet. With proper training, Rottweilers will show you why they are man's best friend. Please train us human master, so the next time someone mentions a Rottweiler it is good news
